Death metal

Death metal is a subgenre of metal, most easily identifiable by its utilization of bass-heavy guitar distortion, harsh, often growled or grunted vocals, and particular brand of compositional density. Better known death metal bands include Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Suffocation, and Entombed, all of which had in their earliest years contributed codifying releases to the subgenre. The lyrics matter to an extent to me. Death metal is intense and doesn't let up which I think is awesome. After a few songs though, pretty boring. Unless if it has as bass riff, those are always fun.

It takes awhile but it took me about a half a year I guess because when I got into it, I got really into the genre and was listening to the genre non stop for a long time.
