Biography
Diesel Disko is an electroband formed in january 2008 by Martijn Doolaard (formerly Outsmarted) and Sander Zwiep. Two of those is the perfect mix of warm sweaty voices and beeping electric midi-LEDS. From the start of 2010 the band has been transformed into a 3-piece formation. With bassplayer Dirkjan van Oord and drummer Hanz Lasthuis. In 2010 they have played on two well known stages in The Netherlands (De Melkweg and Paradiso, both Amsterdam).
Diesel Disko gets inspired by good melodies, sopping dance beats, early 90s radio, panther-print and plastic keyboards.
The first EP, simply called, 'Diesel Disko' is launched and for sale for just 5,- . You can also download the music for free at www.dieseldisko.bandcamp.com
In the beginning of 2011 the band has plans for a single-release and late 2011 the first real album will be released! So keep them in your mind!
